This washed, specialty-grade coffee was processed at the Bebes washing station in Papua New Guinea and is grown in the Obura-Wonenara District, near the town of Kainantu. We absolutely love this coffee! This is an incredibly complex cup. Up front, you get a note of key lime, quickly followed by notes of sweet caramel and a bit of honey. Within its light medium body, you pick up on notes of melon, strawberry, and pear that accompany its creamy mouthfeel. The backend has a note of brown sugar and a hint of earthiness. It finishes incredibly smooth with a very pleasant lingering flavor. To sum it all up, this coffee tastes like caramel drizzled over a few pieces of melon, strawberry, and pear, atop a key lime pie with a brown sugared graham cracker crust! And with that, we're thirsty.. and maybe a bit hungry as well.
