Ecuador Loja Coffee

Roast Level: Light Medium

Altitude: 1,700 MASL

Tasting Notes: Apricot, Maple Syrup, & Peanut Butter

Description: This Ecuadorian coffee hails from the Hacienda Santa Gertrudis farm, located in the Loja region. Santa Gertrudis has their own dry mill to help control the quality process, and this really shows through in the cup. On the front end, you pick up on strong notes of apricot, accompanied by a very pleasant brightness. Almost instantly, this turns to notes of maple syrup sweetness, as well as complex floral notes. This cup has a very creamy mouthfeel and light medium body. You will get a subtle note of peanut butter alongside its smooth and lingering finish, that is sure to please to the very last sip.

Shelf Life: An unopened bag will remain tasty for five months due to our processes and packaging. We remove most of the oxygen from each bag during our packaging process and replace it with food-grade nitrogen to lovingly cradle these precious beans for a long time. We use the highest quality bags with one-way valves to retain the low-oxygen environment we create and allow our coffee to off-gas naturally.
